Storage Retrieval Systems

Store Retrieval Systems

Stock management is, and always has been, a vital part in moving the SMT industry forward. Improving stock management is achieved by creating the most efficient and productive manufacturing processes. Increasingly we are seeing an emphasis on stock and component management to provide 100% traceability and in order to mitigate risk later in the production cycle.

Why invest?

01

Space Saving

There’s no longer a need for a warehouse with large amounts of floorspace, as the height of your building is utilised with vertical storage.

02

Time Saving

With very quick retrieval speeds, operator kitting time is reduced and output is increased.

03

Traceability

With integrated barcode scanning functionality, component checks allow for constant MES connectivity.

04

Ergonomics

Hänel technology provides the operator with an ergonomic environment which reduces strain on the user and improves workload efficiency.

Hänel Lean-Lift

The main principle of the Hänel Lean-Lift is storage rationalisation. At the centre of this closed system is a computer controlled lift, called the extractor, which moves up and down via the smooth action rollers, collecting and returning items to present to the operator via the open access point.

There are multiple slots of 25mm, 37.5mm, 75mm or 90mm in the Lean-Lift where numerous storage shelves can be placed, whereby you hold a range of your stock, tools and parts in trays at height optimised positions for total maximisation of your warehouse.

The machine can be used as a standalone system, or for large applications multiple Hänel Lean-Lifts can be implemented to cater for your needs and support you in the future. The Hänel Lean-Lift can span several floor levels, with multiple access points in different areas, creating the maximum possible storage space on a minimal footprint.

You can have peace of mind in knowing you can expand your storage capacity at any time with Industore, and our experienced team can also take care of relocations quickly, reliably and professionally.

You will find applications of the Lean-Lift in a wide variety of industries, such as tools storage in the automotive sector, to medical apparatus used in pharmaceutical, right through to goods stored in food and beverage. This automated solution proves its versatility time and time again.

Hänel Rotomat

Hänel proudly holds the title of the first manufacturer in Europe to produce carousels based on the cutting edge Ferris wheel principle. Today, Rotomat carousels are exported worldwide helping all business sectors achieve their storage potential through automated systems.
The Rotomat carousel is a future-proof, flexible storage and retrieval system that adapts optimally to your needs whilst integrating unobtrusively into your workplace.

Similar to the Lean-Lift, the Hänel Rotomat can hold a high volume of goods on a small footprint. Distinctively, the Rotomat is best for holding small components and a range of different sized tools where all items can be secured in containers on shelves and returned quickly and safely once requested by the operator.

The unique advantage of the Hänel Rotomat is the ability to adapt the shelves to suit the size and weight of your held items. There’s no need to store only a small selection of your items but all of your intricate components and parts can be protected and stored away neatly.

To meet the ever growing demands of a modern day warehouse, a simple, controlled and efficient logistics process can be implemented by introducing the Rotomat. This vertical carousel, together with its short travel paths and swift retrievals, enables superb order-picking performance for all your staff.

For larger warehouses, staff can select and fill orders at multiple Rotomats continuously and can be positioned in working groups. Whether it’s handling complete sub-assemblies, bulky components or valuable tools, the Rotomat storage carousel is an adaptable solution suited to numerous departments across sectors.
